My Approach to Therapy
Hello and welcome, my name is Faye and I am a therapist.
My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, compassion, and the use of evidence-based practices. I focus on empowering individuals to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET).
I provide a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. By tailoring interventions to meet each client’s unique needs and goals, I ensure that treatment is both effective and personalised.
I am committed to staying informed about the latest advancements in psychotherapy and maintaining ethical standards. Through collaboration and empowerment, I support clients in developing their own coping strategies and solutions and build resilience to thrive in all aspects of life.
